About College

The was inaugurated by then Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Amarendra Narayan Yadav and other dignitaries on 10 August, 2017 under an ambitious scheme of opening of Degree College even in Subdivision Level of Bihar on the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar Mr Nitish Kumar. The then District Magistrate Mr Raj Kumar took keen interest and got this college shifted in few rooms of Nawab High School and after then 12.13 Acres land were identified by him at Harkarwafor college which is about 2 km far from present new building. The Sessions of 2017-2020, 2018-2021 and 2019-2022 , 2020-2023 of undergraduate course have been completed.

Presently Faculty of arts, science & commerce for undergraduate students are running smoothly. Indeed this college has been proved boon for the students who hailing from remote villages of Sheohar district. Before the opening of this college, the students of this district might have to go to the other district to complete their UG degrees and they had to face colossal difficulties to study in higher educational institution. The state government is sincere to provide PG faculty at each district headquarter and expecting faculties of post graduates may commence soon. The university as well as college authority is also prompt to start PG faculties as per the instruction of state government. The college authority is also desirous to bring some vocational courses too.

The college authority is endeavouring its best to avail all the academic facilities to the admitted students for their all-round skills development. About more than 2000 students are admitted in different faculties of undergraduate. Laboratories, library, NSS unit, NCC unit, Games and Sports and Athletics are on the verge of developing. 75% appearance of students is mandatory for filling their examination form.
